Phoenix was established on November 8, 2015. That day our guys played their first official match. Then, in the framework of the Kharkiv Open Futsal Championship, they beat Dynamo 4:1. And now, four years later, the tournament paths of the rivals crossed again.
Please, note that for opponents this full-time duel was only the fourth in the history of the confrontations, becoming the most productive and presenting the fans with fireworks of scored goals. In fact, the match was devoid of game intrigue, since Phoenix advantage throughout the match was visible even to the naked eye. As for Dynamo, it was worth taking note of Artyom Marharyan's play. He is familiar from being on the roster of DYSSh-12 in the Plarium League. Artyom's former teammate Eldar Bratchuk, though, has been Phoenix goalkeeper since the team was established.
This evening, the players in violet jerseys were enjoying themselves on the pitch. The skipper began the goal-scoring spectacle: Artyom Shevchenko beat Dynamo net guard from close range. Before the rivals had time to catch their breath, they again had to kick off the ball from the center of the court. Our guys implemented a 'standard' successfully, and Daniil Dudin managed to remove the cobweb from the top corner of the opponent’s goal with a spectacular shot.
In general, the game picture of the first half was unvaried. Phoenix took possession of the ball, playing multi-pass combinations, while the Dynamo players tried to establish counter play. Soon, Danylo Boldyzhev managed an accurate shot, and again the goal was scored from a standard position.
The opponents could not oppose much to the coordinated actions of our guys, who even managed to distinguish themselves three times before the break (the authors of the goals scored were Ivan Konkov, Danylo Boldyzhev and Olexandr Bezruk). Having achieved a solid lead, the boys were not ready to rest. True, Danylo Zavada early in the second 20-minutes managed to score Dynamo’s first point, but this goal was the only achievement of Dynamo guys.
On the whole, the statistics very eloquently speak for the advantage of our guys: 17 shots on target in Phoenix case vs 4 for the opposition. It is worth noting that the coaching staff tried various combinations of players during the match. Ivan Konkov and Demid Yevsyukov, who took an active part in the goal combinations, interacted well on the site.
Only early in the second half, Serhii Hrytsenko and Yurii Vashchenko’s trainees for a short while gave up the initiative, but then they were regaining their advantage with each coming minute. As a result, Hlib Ivanyuzhenko broke his scoring silence, Nikita Bodnar was constantly aimed at Dynamo’s net. This is the case when you can talk about the team victory of Phoenix.
As a result, the ‘violets’ have achieved the biggest victory so far in the current City Championship, for the first time surpassing the mark of 10 goals scored. This success made it possible for Phoenix to come third in the standings (9 points after four games), being just one point behind Persha Stolytsia, the leader.
Phoenix-2 made the fans happy by beating Tesla-2 (3:1). This is their second victory in a row in Kharkiv Open Championship and again with the lead of 2 points.

Serhii Hrytsenko (Phoenix coach):
- We managed to do many things well today. In fact, we thought the result would be worse. Frankly, it was a bit physically difficult for the guys to play two games a day, this game being the second one. Nonetheless, the boys made it. We won because we were able to keep the possession of the ball and to control it.
- Has the coaching staff let all the guys enter the peach today?
- We started off with two fours, played up to a result and then let the players born in 2007 step in.
