Dolhulia’s Personal Peak Coming Close

As little as four accurate kicks separated Maxim Dolhulia from an impressive scoring achievement - 300 goals scored for Phoenix. When setting up the guys for the game, the coaches did not assume anything like that, the boys did their best, though, to let the milestone be set in the first match of the violets in the Kharkiv Summer Futsal Championship, which started a month later than scheduled.

Max' effort showed too - he scored twice in the first half, tricky fortune being obstinate enough to put the rejoicing off, though. Knowing the accuracy of Phoenix's 'seven' and the supportiveness of the teammates, there is a high chance Max's mother, Ana Dolhulia, will have to cook a celebration dinner for the team following the results of the next round of the Championship.

The team did not give any surprises, having played at 'low speed' in its first match of the season on artificial turf. There were enough technical mistakes, which are traditional for us when switching from parquet to grass, still, where the team lacked accuracy in actions, discipline and class helped it out.

The play of the team from Chkalovsky was much stronger than in the previous game of last year's Summer Futsal Tournament. The opposition had obviously matured significantly in terms of play. Even though Phoenix managed to settle it all in the first half, scoring 4 unrequited goals, this does not mean that the opponent did not have their own chances to score. Rather, we need to thank Eldar Bratchuk, who played his 20 minutes of the match flawlessly - guarding the net alright.

The Reds have played enough for their goal, for sure. And they took full advantage of our mistake in defense in the middle of the second half. By that time, the score had been 5: 0 after Demyd Yevsyukov's accurate kick. The last word was still Phoenix' - Mykhailo Soldatenko set the final score in the match - 6:1, and the violets reached their first victory in the Championship, inflicting the first defeat on the opponent.
